Reaching Beyond

Do you reach beyond to touch the sky,
or lag behind, afraid to try?

Do you reach beyond to learn anew,
or hesitate - the same old you?

Do you reach beyond to test your limit,
or do you tell yourself you are timid?

Do you reach beyond to lead the pack,
or do you waste your time looking back?

Do you reach beyond to care and share
and help some others do and dare?

Do you reach beyond, expect the best,
or have you given up the quest?

Do you reach beyond and try to soar
or, sadly, play it safe once more?

Ragam Peserta KAAK dalam Bulan Ramadhan...

Waktu pagi peserta segar tersenyum riang.

Masuk petang peserta layu dan terus menghilang.

Penyelaras kursus langsung satu hari tak nampak bayang.

Yang puasa komplain pening tak leh makan,

Yang tak puasa komplain pening terlebih makan

Yang puasa yang-yuk senantiasa curi-curi makan

Mata segar, senyum memanjang.

Peserta susah nak beri tumpuan

Mata macam melihat tetapi fikiran dah melayang

Penceramah pula cakap merapu tanpa haluan

Semua sibuk memikirkan juadah nak dibeli waktu petang.

Jurulatih cuba ceriakan keadaan

Sediakan nyanyian, berseloka dan bermain peranan

Bab letih tak boleh dilayankan

Bab faham ..hm.. sukar nak ditentukan.

Jurulatih tekun terangkan rancangan pelajaran

Peserta asyik merancang jalan balik mana yang senang.

Tamat sesi, Objektif menyerupai Kebolehan

Bahan entah mana, Cara-cara lintang pukang.

Ramadhan dan KAAK berat untuk disatukan

Cabaran datang dari semua haluan

Susah nak ikut segala pemintaan

Jika nak cuba juga, tutup teliga dan tingkatkan kesabaran.

The Road to Success

The road to success is never straight.
There is a curve called FAILURE,
A loop called CONFUSION,
Speed bumps called FRIENDS,
Red lights called ENEMIES,
Yellow caution lights called FAMILY

You will have flats called JOBS
Leaks called FRUSTRATIONS
But, if you have a spare called DETERMINATION,
An Engine called PERSEVERANCE,
The make called TOLERANCE,
Insurance called FAITH,
You will make to a place called SUCCESS

Nail in The Fence

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper.
One day, his father gave him a bag of nails and told him that
every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into
the back of the fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence.
Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger,
the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.
He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive
those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all.
He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out
one nail each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father
that all the nails were gone.
The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence.

He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence.
The fence will never be the same.
When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one."
